THE BIOLOGICAL father of Madonna’s adopted daughter has begged the superstar to allow him to see a photograph of her.

James Kambewa, 26, who works as a waiter in South Africa, wanted to see the photographs of five year old Mercy who he has never met. Mercy’s mother died during childbirth aged 14.

Now Kambewa has made a public plea for the singer to forward him pictures of Mercy and he plans on being reunited with his biological child one day.

Kambewa told the ‘Daily Mail’, “I would appreciate if Madonna could send me pictures of how she looks like now as I don’t get any pleasure of being with her.

“It’s emotionally painful for me as a father. I’m very happy that Madonna is taking care of her. But as a parent, from the moment I heard that she was still alive, I wanted to meet her and I’m hopeful that I’ll meet her one day.”

According to Kambewa he was unaware that Mercy was still alive and thought she had died with her mother, until his friend revealed to him that she was alive and being brought up in an orphanage.

Madonna and Mercy were pictured yesterday on (August 8) on the set of ‘W.E’ a film, which she will be directing in London.

Thanks The Voice. UK.

Pop superstar Madonna has been cited for noise pollution by London authorities after staff at her home in the British capital threw a party in the singer’s absence.

The “Material Girl” was out of the country on June 27, when officials from Westminister City Council were called to investigate neighbors’ noise complaints.

They found the music and singing coming from the property loud enough to be considered “statutory nuisance” and an official notice was posted through the letterbox, prompting Madonna’s staff to put an end to the party antics.

But their raucous activities have landed their famous boss in trouble with local councilors leaving her facing a possible court case and a fine of up to $5,000 (3,330 pound sterling) if she is cited for similar offenses in the future.

Councillor Ed Argar says, “We take the issue of noise pollution very seriously and treat every case alike and fairly, regardless of who owns the property concerned.

If people want to hold a party, regardless of the time of day or night, they need to show some common courtesy to their neighbors, who should not have to pay the price for others’ selfish behavior.” However, a Westminister City Council spokesperson insists the case is unlikely to end up in court.

Thanks Peace FM.

Madonna Fearless in the Gym

Madonna and perky fitness trainer Tracy Anderson parted ways several months ago, but it’s safe to say that the “Material Girl” singer, 51, is already on a new exercise regimen.

The entertainer spares no expense to keep herself fit, and as her former personal trainer and ex-boyfriend Carlos Leon explained to London’s Times, she’s willing to get experimental. “Madonna and I worked out together when we were a couple. It was a mix and match of me following her program and her following mine. She is always very curious about what’s new, what’s hot. She is the type of person who will do anything exercise-wise. Right now she is using big elastic bands for resistance training and her cardio comes from dance.”

Considering Madonna has built her brand on a highly fit image, it’s no surprise she goes to such lengths. As Leon explained, “I think Madonna knows she sets the bar pretty high for people who see her image in the papers. But bear in mind she has a cook, a trainer, she appears on stage for two hours when she’s on tour. She makes her body her business, she really does.”

Thanks Zimbio.

“This country tends to remember the Queen Mother as a rather wrinkly 97 year-old, but I am playing her when she was quite an enchanting, engaging twenty and thirty something,” the Telegraph quoted Dormer as saying.

She added: “She was quite a savage and savvy game player.”

After visits from Paul McCartney in September 2008, Madonna and Leonard Cohen in 2009 and Elton John last week, concert producers are competing to bring another legendary artist to Israel – Barbra Streisand.

If Streisand decides to come, it will be the most expensive gig in the history of the Jewish State; producers offered the diva between $2.5- 4.5 million for her a single performance.

‘Barb’ is planning to go on tour next year, and organizers are trying to get her to make a stop over in the Middle East.

The highest offer was submitted by manager Marcel Abraham, who arranged the performances of some high-profile artists, including Elton John, Metallica, and Leonard Cohen.

Among the other producers racing to sign the star is American millionaire and businessman Kobi Sidi. He said that if Streisand takes his offer, he will hold the concert at an open space near the ancient shore town of Caesarea.

Sources in the music industry said Streisand’s aides visited Israel recently to negotiate with the different production companies.

Attorney Haggai Stravis, who represents Abraham, said his client “has given Streisand an extremely worthy offer. We are hoping for a positive response.”

Barbra Streisand is considered one of the most successful female singers in the history of music, but doesn’t take the stage very often. Streisand held her last concert tour three years ago, after a long break, taking in over $100 million.

Producers who tried to get Streisand to perform in Israel during her last tour – but were unsuccessful – hope the generous offers will do the trick this time around.

Madonna’s 13-year-old daughter Lourdes is keen to live on her own and is expected to move out in the next 12 months.

Lourdes, also known as Lola, is planning to become an entertainer, just like her mother and is believed to join New York’s LaGuardia High School of Music n Art and Performing Arts later this year.

Lola, the upcoming star, thinks that she is mature enough to live on her own and is keen to convince her mother to let her spread her wings.

“Lola has always been quite outspoken but still pretty obedient. Like most teenagers, she’s now starting to rebel,” Stuff.co.nz quoted a source as telling the National Enquirer magazine.

“It seems she’s fed up with Madonna controlling everything she does. ”

“She’s telling whoever will listen that, by next year, hopefully she’ll be able to persuade her mom that she needs her own place,” the source added.

It has been reported that Lourdes is keen to pursue a career in acting and even won a place at New York’s Fame high school after impressing the board during a private audition.

However, the school has not revealed if Lourdes has been admitted to its student body.

Madonna and Son, David Return to Malawi

Pop singer Madonna has taken her adopted son David to visit his former orphanage in central Malawi.

Chants of “welcome home, David!” and “we love you, David!” could be heard from inside the Home Of Hope as the four-year-old and his mother arrived.

Journalists were barred from the reunion, which took place during Madonna’s week-long stay in Malawi.

But the head of the orphanage said Madonna did not want to break David’s “emotional attachment” to the home.

“David spent most of his first days on earth here,” Lucy Chipeta told the BBC. “We are delighted to have him back.”

“We have preserved his room including his crib,” she added.

As Madonna engaged in discussions with the orphanage’s directors, David and his older sister Lourdes played with the young residents.

However, the four-year-old’s biological father, Yohane Banda, was nowhere to be seen.

Chipeta refused to comment on why he had not attended.

Madonna, in Malawi since Monday, is scheduled to leave the southern African country on Friday.

The pop star, 51, funds six orphanages through her Raising Malawi charity and is setting up a school for girls on the outskirts of the country’s capital, Lilongwe.

Thanks BBC.
